Dr. Jim Stallings was the National Director of Quality and Leadership Development for First Group America, and developed and created a nationwide safety audit tool and reporting system for all areas of the company. He has also served as an expert witness in the school bus and transportation industry. 

He served as the Program Director of Accident Investigation Program, established Trend and Root Cause Analysis programs for accident and injury prevention and implemented countermeasures for disruption of negative trends. Dr. Stallings is certified in Principals of Occupational Safety and Health through the National Safety Council, and frequently taught the OSHA 510 and 511 courses in the company. He is an expert in Behavior Based Safety, and under his direction the training and implementation of the BBS program led to a nearly 50% reduction in behavior related employee injuries over 12 months. 

Dr. Stallings also served as the Logistics Safety Manager for Frito-Lay. He produced outstanding results of accident frequency 1.21, claims frequency of Zero, and injury frequency of 1.32. He produced over 400 days injury free for the first time in 20 years of operation. He directed $1.9 million fleet maintenance P&L for 25 long haul tractors and 160 53’ roller-bed, e-van, and drop frame trailers: program maintained and unheard of 7.1 mpg with over 4.3 million miles in 2005, attained 98% DOT compliance rating in 2005 and 100% in 2006, which was the best results in 20 years.
